How does Marco’s Hot Water Systems Save energy?
Marco’s newer boilers such as the Marco MIX use a patented vacuum insulted tank to reduce heat loss and advanced water filling methods using software logic to control water in and out. This enables a smaller tank size while maintaining the same or better performance than older machines.
A smaller tank means less steel is used initially and heat loss is naturally reduced. Less water is also wasted since many competitors store a large percentage of the total water below the tap level, meaning it can never be used.

Vacuum Insulated Tank
The MIX range uses a vacuum-insulated tank which enhances energy-efficiency by up to 70% compared to competitors.
Vacuum insulated tank nearly eliminates convective and conductive heat-loss in the areas where the insulation is present.
This insulation minimises heat loss, reducing energy required to maintain water temperature.

How does Marco MilkPal Save Waste and Time?
Improve Speed of Service
On average, 80% of the total time it takes to serve a milk-based beverage is spent foaming milk. With volumetric dispense, the MilkPal significantly reduces this time, freeing up the barista for other tasks.

Reduce Milk Waste
With a traditional steamer, baristas usually guess the amount of milk needed for their order. This means an average coffee shops will waste 20% of all milk used in store. This means for every $1 you spend on milk, 0.20c goes down the drain. In fact, milk is one of the most wasted consumables in a coffee shop. With volumetric dispense, the MilkPal allows sites to program exactly the milk volume they need, significantly reducing waste, which is better for the planet, and better for profit.
