Set Volume Dispense on PB Series Boilers (PB5, PB10, WMPB5, etc.)

  1. Using a flat-head screwdriver, prise off the lower front panel at either side. Remove panel to access the control PCB
  2. Make sure that the machine is powered on, filled and heated (ready lamp green)
  3. Locate the calibration push-button on the control PCB and press until the machine enters volume calibration mode, indicated by status light on front panel flashing red-green
  4. Set new dispense time by pressing the dispense button to obtain the required volume of water. Dispense button may be pressed several times to achieve desired volume – all times/volumes will be added together
  5. To confirm and save the new value, press the calibration button on the control PCB for a second until the status lamp stops blinking
  6. Setting dispense time/volume to zero (omit step 4) will make the machine work as “push & hold” (water dispensed as long as the button is pressed).

Adjust Brew Time/Volume on a Marco Brewer (Filtro Shuttle, QwikBrew)

1. Setting Brew Water Volumes:

When in volume calibration mode you are selecting the overall water flow time for each brew. The sprayhead outputs approx. 2L/min (33.3ml/sec) on the Filtro Shuttle and 700ml/min on the QwikBrew. When setting a Filtro Shuttle, if you want a volume of 3.5L in Brew 2, press Brew 2 button after 1min45sec or 105sec (33.3mlx105s=3.5L)

2. To Calibrate Water Volume:

Turn the brewer on by pressing the power button

Press and hold any of the brew buttons for 5+ seconds. The timer should be started the moment you press the button

The Red Power LED will blink to show you are in Volume Calibration mode. No water will flow at this time

When the desired time has passed, corresponding to the required volume, press Brew Button 1, 2 or 3 to assign this volume to that brew button

When all required Brew Button volumes are assigned, the settings can be saved by turning the brewer off using the power button

Note: To disable a brew button, select a water flow time of less than 10seconds

Filtro Shuttle Default Settings:  Brew1 Button – 5mins 3Litres

Brew2 Button – 5mins 6Litres

Brew3 Button – 1mins 1Litre

3. To Calibrate Time (Pulse Brewing):

Press and hold any of the brew buttons for 5+ seconds to enter Time Calibration mode. The timer should be started the moment you press the button down

The ready to brew green LED will blink to show you are in time calibration mode. No water will flow at this time

When the desired time has passed, press the corresponding brew button to assign this time for that Brew Button

When all required brews are selected, the settings can be saved by turning the brewer off using the power button

4. Now, press a Brew Button and measure the brew time and water output. If further adjustment is required, the machine can be recalibrated to extend or reduce the calibration volume and time.
