As you all may know we recently sponsored the Brew Bar at The 2012 International Coffee & Tea Festival. It was a great success and we have pictures of the event from Marco’s Middle East Sales Manager, Gautam Kumbargeri.
For a bit of background: The festival markets itself as being for all those who are interested in Coffee & Tea as a Business or a Commodity on the one hand or for those who love the beverage and the unique café lifestyle, on the other. The event highlights products, services and technological advancements in the production, storage and distribution of coffee and tea .
The best cafés in the UAE were all there to showcase what they have to offer and there were some exclusive previews to some of the cafés, coffees and teas that have not yet appeared in the UAE market. The latest gadgets and products were on show as the UAE continued to develop as the centre of the coffee and tea world in the Middle East.
The Sheesha Courtyard particularly caught my eye as there you could indulge in variety of delectable food on offer and enjoy some jazz, blues and acoustic music performed by an array of local artists. Very cool man…
The UAE Barista Championship provided a worthy winner in Romeo Perello who will represent the UAE at the 2013 World Championships.
As an added bonus – You could enjoy a scrumptious food experience every day of the Festival, in collaboration with the co-located International Fine Food Festival. Good coffee, good food, good show. Pictures of the event below.

Great coffee? Yep. But it’s the machine that makes this photo.
Shameless Marco promotion!
